Staff is attentive and eager to please

Absolutely loved this property and cannot say enough good things about it. The location, the views; the food, the staff, the rooms, the booby, everything here is absolutely amazing. The roof top bar is a must visit

Great room, great roof top bar, restaurant experience just so so.

The hotel is historic and offers spectacular views of the Savannah River. The lobby and the open flights of stairs down to River Street are memorable. My only criticisms is the failure of the reception staff to inform me of the $32 “destination fee” at check in and the remodeling of the bathroom in our room does not reflect and failed to preserve the original character and features of our room. The floor and walls were covered with composite or wood laminated materials and the cabinet/counter for the sink was a gray colored Formica like material. Despite those criticisms, we would stay at the River Street Inn again.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to most sites in the historic district and seldom had to use our car. Free, gated, onsite parking during the stay saved an additional $50/day. Well equipped kitchen, full sized refrigerator and ample seating appreciated.
